Tempting balance
The first impression of my work is that it's aesthetic and well-balanced. It draws attention because of the harmonious construction: light, rhythm, lines and colours are united with utmost precision.

Awkward smile
Soon attention is attracted by the reality that lies behind the images, that are often staged. They portray everyday situations with a twist almost drawing the viewer into the picture.
The set-up is somewhat absurd, alienating. It gives an uncomfortable feeling but at the same time it's hard to suppress a smile.
Humor to make the harsh reality manageable.
